We were all asked at the team leader’s meeting to be ready at 5.30pm for a 6pm start by 7pm we finally started our parade with all the other teams. Some how we were not allocated any seats with the other teams so we took advantage and sat at the back ready to make a rapid exit.
We did our stuff standing for the national anthem and the raising of the IODA flag and then fled care of Kate GT back to our hotel where we were able to have dinner in peace and make our plans for this morning. Boys are a bit jumpy waiting for it to all start but calmed down by the end of dinner. RUS and SWE obviously had the same idea because they followed quickly behind us.

So far fingers crossed nobody has been ill but several other sailors have been. One Team leader was frantically looking for a missing sailor who was eventually found in a remote loo that she did not know about where he had been for an hour and half!
